Μια διαφορετική, όμορφη και ξεχωριστή μουσικοχορευτική παράσταση είχαν την ευκαιρία να παρακολουθήσουν οι φίλοι της Κρήτης, την Παρασκευή 7 Οκτωβρίου, που διοργανώθηκε από την Ένωση Κρητών Νέας Σμύρνης, στο πλαίσιο του Φεστιβάλ «Ιωνικές γιορτές 2022».
Ο πρόεδρος της Ένωσης Κρητών Νικήτας Περαθωράκης, στο σύντομο χαιρετισμό του, αναφέρθηκε στα γεγονότα που διαδραματίστηκαν πριν από 100 χρόνια στη Σμύρνη, με φόντο μια Ελληνική σημαία της εποχής εκείνης, δίνοντας το σύνθημα για την έναρξη της βραδιάς.
Η εκπληκτική ερμηνεύτρια Στέλλα Σειραγάκη με τη μοναδική της φωνή και οι εξαιρετικοί ταλαντούχοι μουσικοί απέδωσαν παραδοσιακά κομμάτια με τόσο μοναδικό τρόπο, που το κοινό δεν έπαψε στιγμή να σιγοτραγουδάει τις γνώριμες μελωδίες.
Η δυναμική εμφάνιση του χορευτικού συγκροτήματος της Ένωσης Κρητών, που με τη δεξιοτεχνία του και τους ζωηρούς κρητικούς χορούς, έδωσε μια διαφορετική νότα στην παράσταση και προκάλεσε θετικές εντυπώσεις αποσπώντας για μία ακόμα φορά το θερμό χειροκρότημα του κοινού.
Το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο εξέφρασε την ικανοποίησή του για την επιτυχή έκβαση της βραδιάς μιας και εισέπραττε κατά τη διάρκεια της παράστασης μόνο συγχαρητήρια και τα πλέον εγκωμιαστικά σχόλια για τη συγκεκριμένη διοργάνωση. Η εκδήλωση έκλεισε με ριζίτικο παραδοσιακό τραγούδι από το μουσικό σχήμα και το χορευτικό της Ένωσης Κρητών καθώς και κρητικούς χορούς για το κοινό.
